IPL Leader Esteghlal Defeats Mes
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran Professional League (IPL) leader Esteghlal football team defeated Mes 3-2 in Matchweek 14 on Saturday.
Kevin Yamga scored twice for Esteghlal from the penalty spot and Amin Ghaseminejhad also was on target for the Blues.
Godwin Mensha (penalty) and Mohammad Reza Soleymani scored for Mes in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
In Padideh-Persepolis match in Mashhad, Masoud Zaer scored an own goal in the 31st minute and Ehsan Hosseini leveled the score for Padideh in the 45th minute.
Esteghlal leads the table with 32 points, three points above Persepolis.
