Iran Suffers Third Loss in 2022 Men's AHF Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran hockey national team lost to Indonesia 7-0 in the 2022 Men's AHF Cup on Thursday.
Iran had previously lost to Oman and Bangladesh in Group B and defeated Singapore.
Iran was scheduled to meet Uzbekistan on Saturday for the 5th-8th place.
The 2022 Men's AHF Cup is the sixth edition of the Men's AHF Cup, the quadrennial qualification tournament for the Men's Hockey Asia Cup organized by the Asian Hockey Federation.
It takes place at the GBK Hockey Field in Jakarta, Indonesia, from March 11 to 20.
The top three teams will qualify for the 2022 Men's Hockey Asia Cup.
