Iran Beats India in Asian Beach Handball Championship Opener
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran started the eighth Asian Men’s Beach Handball Championship with a 2-0 win against India on Tuesday.
The competition is being held in Tehran, Iran, from March 22 to 28.
The event acts as qualification for the World Championships, to be hosted in Greece next June.
Besides host Iran and defending champion Qatar, Oman, Vietnam, the Philippines and India compete in the event.
