Iran Defeats Syria at FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Syria 91-56 at Window 3 of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers on Monday.
Hamed Haddadi scored 14 points and earned 15 rebounds for Iran against Syria.
Nadim Issa had 13 points to lead Syria.
Iran advanced to Group F along with Australia, Kazakhstan, China, Japan and Bahrain.
The top three teams will secure their place at the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
