Bahmanyar, Asgari in Final of Karate1-Premier League
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian karate practitioners Sara Bahmanyar and Bahman Asgari qualified for the final match of the 2022 Karate 1-Premier League in Baku, Azerbaijan on Friday.
Bahmanyar will face Venezuela’s Salazar Yorgelis in the final match on Sunday in the Female Kumite -50 Kg.
Asgari will also meet Kazakhstan’s Nurkanat Azhikanov in the final match of -75kg on Sunday.
A total of 350 athletes from 58 countries have registered for the event.
The competition is being held in Baku, Azerbaijan from September 2 to 4.
