Iran Basketball Emerges Victorious in Friendly Match
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s national basketball team defeated Mahgol Alborz 88-69 in a friendly match at Tehran’s Azadi Hall on Thursday.
The match against the Iranian club was part of preparation for the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup qualification.
Team Melli is scheduled to host Kazakhstan on November 22 in Tehran before traveling to Doha to play Qatar three days later.
Iran’s national basketball team is headed by Greek coach Sotirios Alex Manolopoulos.
