Iran Football Team Travels to Austria
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran football team arrived in Vienna, Austria Sunday morning for their World Cup warmup matches against Uruguay and Senegal.
Iran will play Uruguay and Senegal in two friendly matches on September 23 and 27, respectively.
Iran, headed by Carlos Queiroz, will play the friendlies as part of preparation for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Team Melli has been drawn along with England, the US and Wales in Group B of the World Cup.
