Cambodia, Iran to Enhance Sports Ties
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Cambodia and Iran vowed to boost their bilateral ties in sports, a Cambodian official said.
The commitment was made during a meeting on Thursday between the president of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC), and Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa, visiting president of the Iran National Olympic Committee (NOCIRI), said NOCC's secretary general Vath Chamroeun.
Khosravi Vafa is in Phnom Penh to attend the 41st Olympic Council of Asia General Assembly, which will be held on October 3 and 4.
The Iranian delegation includes Khosravi Vafa, NOCIRI Director of International Relations Department Farid Fattahian and Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri, a former President of NOCIRI and OCA Executive Board Member.
