2022 Mr. Olympia: Iran’s Hadi Choopan Reigns Supreme
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Hadi Choopan dethroned Mamdouh Elssbiay to win his maiden Men's Open trophy at the 2022 Mr. Olympia.
He edged out runner-up Derek Lunsford and third-place-finisher Nick Walker.
The competition was held at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada from December 15-17.
Mr. Olympia is the title awarded to the winner of the professional men's bodybuilding contest at Joe Weider's Olympia Fitness & Performance Weekend—an international bodybuilding competition that is held annually by the International Federation of BodyBuilding & Fitness (IFBB).
