Midfielder Amanov Parts Company with Esteghlal
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Uzbekistani midfielder Azizbek Amanov parted company with Esteghlal football club.
The 25-year-old Uzbek midfielder joined Esteghlal from Lokomotiv Tashkent last season but left the team due to lack of playing time.
Amanov has reportedly joined Nasaf Qarshi.
“To all Esteghlal fans, thank you for supporting me throughout my time at the club. It has been a pleasure to represent you on the pitch, and I am forever grateful for how you backed me. Unfortunately, I have had to leave the club in sad circumstances, but that will never take away from the appreciation I have for all of you,” Amanov shared on his Instagram account.
“We shared some fantastic moments together, including our unbeaten season last year. These are things that I will never forget, and you can be assured that I will always keep a part of my heart reserved for you. I wish all the Blues’ fans the best of success in the future and will hope to see you again one day soon,” he added.
