Persepolis Victorious over Naft Masjed Soleyman: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football team defeated struggling Naft Masjed Soleyman 3-0 here in the Iranan capital on Monday.
Sina Asadbeigi and Mehdi Torabi were on target in the first half and substitute Mehdi Abdi scored the third goal in the final minutes of the match at the Azadi Stadium.
In Sirjan, Gol Gohar defeated Paykan 2-1 to return to title race of the Iran Professional League (IPL).
Zob Ahan also beat Mes Kerman 1-0 in Isfahan.
Persepolis is second behind Sepahan due to an inferior goal difference.
