Russia Welcomes Iranian Companies' Contribution to Its Dairy Market, Says Official

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The chairman of the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision of Russia, Sergey Dankort, welcomed the active involvement of Iranian firms in Russia's fish and dairy market.

In a meeting with the head of the Iran Veterinary Organization Mohammad Aghamiri on Monday night in Moscow, Dankort said Russian authorities have already granted permits to Iranian companies to work in their market.

He also expressed Russia's readiness to conduct training courses to familiarize both sides with sanitary surveillance systems of protein and dairy products.

Aghamiri appreciated the cooperation between the two organizations in recent years and expressed hope that people and traders from both countries could benefit from their collaborations.

Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali, who was present in the meeting, highlighted that the interactions between the two governments are rapidly advancing in different fields.
