Vafaei Falls Short against O’Sullivan in World Snooker Championship

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian snooker player Hossein Vafaei smashed into the balls from his opening break as he fell 6-2 behind to British player Ronnie O’Sullivan in their second-round match at the World Snooker Championship in England.

The winner of O'Sullivan vs Vafaei will face Luca Brecel in the quarter-finals after the Belgian beat three-time world champion Mark Williams 13-11 on Friday night.

The pair resume the contest on Saturday.

The championship is being held at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England.
