Iran’s Mombeini Elected as CAFA Executive Committee Member
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Hedayat Mombeini from Iran was elected as an Executive Committee Member in the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA).
During the 8th CAFA Congress, held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan on Tuesday, the Iranian official was elected for the post.
Mohammad Yosuf Kargar (Afghanistan) and Arslan Aynazarov (Turkmenistan) were elected as CAFA Vice-Presidents.
Rustam Emomali (Tajikistan) remained as President of CAFA.
FIFA president Gianni Infantino, AFC president Shaikh Salman and head of Iran football federation Mehdi Taj also attended the congress.
