Iran’s Kazemi Climbs Lhotse One Day after Climbing Everest

TEHRAN (Tasnim)– Iranian climber Rouhollah Kazemi successfully scaled Mt. Everest and Mt. Lhotse within 24 hours.

He is the first Iranian mountaineer to have managed to climb Everest and Lhotse at the same time.

After climbing Everest and returning to Camp 4, this climber proceeded towards Lhotse peak and successfully climbed it.

Lhotse ranks as the fourth highest mountain in the world at 8,516 meters (27,940 ft), after Mount Everest, K2, and Kangchenjunga.
