Difficult Task Ahead of Iran at 2023 VNL Week 3

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran will start Week 3 of the 2023 Volleyball Nations League (VNL) against France early Wednesday in Anaheim, the US, but its head coach will miss the competition after the US government didn’t issue his visa.

The team will be headed by Iran assistant Alireza Tloukian in this match.

Team Melli sits 11th in the 16-team table and the eight best-ranked national teams in the Preliminary Phase will qualify for the Final Phase.

Furthermore, Amin Esmaeilnezhad, Arman Salehi and Mohammad Taher Vadi will miss the competition for the above-mentioned issue.

Iran will also meet Bulgaria (July 6), Argentina (July 8) and Cuba (July 9) and have a difficult task with an incomplete team.
