Iran’s Exports to 4 European Countries Hit $47.5 Million in Three Months: IRICA
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran exported $47.5 million worth of non-oil products to four European countries in the first quarter of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21 to June 22), the director general of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) for International Cooperation said.
Speaking in an interview with Fars news agency on Monday, Omid Golzari expounded on the rise in the export of Iranian products to Spain, Italy, France and the Netherlands and added that saffron, pistachio, pistachio kernel, polyethylene, warm-water industrial slag pots, die-casting products and radiator are of the major Iranian products exported to the four European countries.
He put the value of the products exported from Iran to Italy from March 21 to June 22, 2023 at $18.5 million.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the IRICA director general pointed to the export of Iranian products to France and added that saffrons, dried grapes, pistachio kernels and marbles were among the main products exported from Iran to France in the three-month period.
Golzari put the value of the goods exported to France from March 21 to June 22 at $2 million.
Ferromolybdenum, ferrosilicon, fats, animal oils, dates, dried grapes, saffrons, black tea (fermented), watermelon, etc. were among the main Iranian products exported to the Netherlands in this period, he emphasized.
Iran exported $11 million worth of non-oil products to the Netherlands from March 21 to June 22, Golzari added.
