Iran to Compete at 2023 Para Powerlifting World Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A total of 11 powerlifters, including eight men and two women, will represent Iran in the 2023 Para Powerlifting (WPPO) World Championships.
The WPPO, which will commence in Dubai on August 22, is a compulsory tournament to qualify for the 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris.
Dubai will host the event for the third time in history with almost 500 athletes taking center stage from August 22 to 30.
