Iranian Judo Athlete Gholami Takes Gold at 2023 IBSA World Games
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian judo athlete Moussa Gholami won a gold medal at the 2023 IBSA World Games on Thursday.
The Iranian athlete defeated his Brazilian opponent Arthur Cavalcante da Silva at the J1 -90kg
Moldovan Oleg Cretul and Chinese Yurong Wu won two bronze medal in weight class.
Vahid Jeddi had won Iran’s first gold at J2 -73kg.
Iran’s Meysam Banitaba also claimed a bronze medal in the J1 -60kg.
The 2023 IBSA World Games are being held in Birmingham, England from August 18 to 27.
