Iranian Para Powerlifters Win Medals at Dubai 2023
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Ali Akbar Gharibshahi and Saman Razi of Iran won a gold a bronze medal respectively at the 2023 Para Power-lifting World Championships on Friday.
Gharibshahi came first with 248kg in Men's Up to 107 kg.
Mongolia’s Sodnompiljee Enkhbayar claimed the silver medal with 247kg.
Razi also lifted 455kg in the Total category to win a bronze medal.
The competition has brought around 500 elite powerlifters (including 56 juniors) from 80 countries together at the Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City.
