IPL: Esteghlal Edges Esteghlal Khuzestan
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal football team defeated Esteghlal Khuzestan 1-0 in the Iran Professional League (IPL) Matchweek 4 on Monday.
Mehrdad Mohammadi scored the winner in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium in the 51st minute.
In Tabriz, Tractor earned a late win over Mes Rafsanjan courtesy of Mehdi Abdi’s goal in the 86th minute.
On Tuesday, Paykan will host IPL leader Sepahan, Nassaji meet Sanat Naft in Ghaemshahr and Gol Gohar face Malavan in Sirjan.
