Sepahan Battles Back to Beat Paykan: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Sepahan football team defeated Paykan 3-1 in the 2023-24 Iran Professional League (IPL) Matchweek 4 on Tuesday.
Paykan winger Reza Ghandipour found the back of the net in the 29th minute but Reza Asadi canceled out his goal five minutes before the halftime.
Sepahan defender Mohammad Daneshgar was shown a red card in the 45th minute.
Ramin Rezaeian made scoreboard 2-1 in the 69th minute and Arya Yousefi scored the third goal with one minute remaining.
Elsewhere, Gol Gohar and Malavan shared the spoil in a1-1 draw in Sirjan and Nassaji defeated Sanat Naft 3-1 in Ghaemshahr.
On Wednesday, Foolad will meet Persepolis in Ahvaz, while Aluminum play Shams Azar and Zob Ahan face Havadar in Isfahan.
