Bushehr Customs Export 40 Million Tons of Goods to 45 Countries: Official

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Pointing to the activity of 14 customs offices in the coastal areas of Iran’s southern province of Bushehr, an official said that 40 million tons of goods have been exported to 45 countries from the province over the past one and a half years.

Customs infrastructures have significantly been promoted in the administration of President Raisi, Ali Soleimani, a customs office manager, said.

All customs offices of this province have been connected to the optical fiber, he mentioned.

He pointed to the products imported via the customs office and stated that 900,000 tons of goods, valued at $2.2 billion, have been discharged from customs of this southern province in the reported period

The revenues of customs in Bushehr province increased by 141 percent in the first five months of the current year (March 21 to August 22), he also noted. 

He went on to say that more than 25 percent of the country’s export of goods is done via the customs offices of this province.
