Iran’s Fixtures at 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup Qualification Announced
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran will meet Hong Kong in its opening match at the 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualification.
The match is scheduled for September 6 at the Lokomotiv Stadium in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Reza Enayati’s boys will also meet Afghanistan and Uzbekistan on September 9 and 12, respectively in Group E.
A total of 16 teams will qualify to play in the final tournament, including Qatar who qualified automatically as host.
In each group, teams will play each other once at a centralized venue. The 11 group winners and the four best runners-up qualify for the final tournament.
