Sepahan Held by Air Force: ACL 2023-24
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Sepahan football team of Iran was held to a 2-2 draw by Iraq’s Air Force Club in its opening AFC Champions League 2023-24 Group C match at the Franso Hariri Stadium on Monday.
Ali Jasim gave Air Force Club an initial lead in the 26th minute but Mohammad Daneshgar leveled the score four minutes later.
Mohammad Ghorbani gave the visiting team a lead in the 67th minute.
With one minute remaining, Jasim equalized the match.
Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia also defeated Uzbekistan’s AGMK 3-0 at the Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium in Jeddah in the group.
