Esteghlal, Aluminum Share Spoils: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal and Aluminum shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw in the 2024-25 Iran Professional League (IPL) on Friday.
Esteghlal midfielder Jaloliddin Masharipov was on target from the penalty spot in the 45th minute and Amin Kazemian equalized the match three minutes after the hour mark.
Struggling Nassaji defeated Havadar 1-0 in Tehran. Hamed Pakdel was on target in the 78th minute.
On Saturday, IPL leader Tractor will host Shams Azar in Tabriz, Persepolis face Mes in Tehran, Gol Gohar play Sepahan in Sirjan and Zob Ahan face Malavan in Isfahan.
