Iran Water Polo Too Strong for Thailand at Hangzhou
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s men’s water polo team defeated Thailand 26-7 in the 2022 Asian Games on Tuesday.
Iran will face China on Wednesday in Group A.
Team Melli had defeated South Korea 15-4 in its opening match on Monday.
Group B consists of Kazakhstan Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore.
A record high of nearly 12,500 athletes from 45 countries and territories compete across 40 sports in the 2022 Asian Games.
Iran has sent 289 male and female athletes to the Games in 34 sports events.
