Iran’s Women’s Kabaddi Beaten by Chinese Taipei at Hangzhou

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s women’s kabaddi team lost to Chinese Taipei 35-24 in the 2022 Asian Games semifinals on Friday.

Team Melli Banovan had defeated Nepal and Bangladesh in its previous matches.

Iran’s women’s team is the Asian Games defending champion.

A record high of nearly 12,500 athletes from 45 countries and territories compete across 40 sports in the 2022 Asian Games.

Iran has sent 289 male and female athletes to the Games in 34 sports events.
