Myth of Israeli Army’s Invincibility Debunked: Iranian Spokesman

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry said the recent developments in Gaza have dispelled the threadbare myth that the Zionist regime’s army in unbeatable.

“The murderous leaders of the child-killing Zionist regime are so unsure of the capability of their army that they have shut down Gaza's internet simultaneously with their purported limited incursion into the region,” Nasser Kanaani said in a post on his X account on Saturday.

“This is aimed at preventing the world from witnessing their human losses and damage to their military as well as the grounding of the defeated army of the Zionist regime,” he added.

“This is while the threadbare myth of the regime army's invincibility has already shattered not only in the eyes of the world but also the Zionist citizens,” the Iranian spokesman said.

In another post, Kanaani said the heinous and inhumane crimes of the child-killing Zionist regime against the oppressed Palestinian people in Gaza after the irreparable defeat of October 7 has permanently diminished this regime in the conscience of world people and precipitated its decline.

“The Zionists' brutal and relentless crimes committed over the past 22 days in Gaza showed the moral decline of the US regime and other hidden and open supporters of the apartheid Zionist regime to the whole world and exposed their hypocrisy,” the Iranian spokesman noted.

“However, the Zionist regime and its supporters are doomed to failure in this catastrophic genocide in Gaza,” he added.

At least 7,703 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks since October 7, when Hamas launched a surprise attack outside Gaza.

Israeli PM Netanyahu says the war in Gaza will be “long and difficult” with the Zionist regime intensifying its aerial strikes and progressing to the “next phase” of operations.
