Iran Beats S. Korea at 2023 IBSA Goalball Asia/Pacific C’ships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated South Korea 9-6 in Group B of the 2023 IBSA Goalball Asia/Pacific Championships on Wednesday.
Team Melli had already defeated Kazakhstan 10-0 and Mongolia 11-1 in the group stage.
Group A consists of China, Australia, Thailand, and Pakistan.
Iran, the bronze medalist of the 2022 Asian Para Games, can get its ticket to Paris 2024.
Host China has already qualified for the Paralympics. Japan, which won a silver medal in the 2022 Asian Para Games, decided not to participate in this continental championship, opening up all the possibilities for the Persian squad.
