Israeli Forces Destroy Entire Neighborhood in Khan Younis Demolition

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Israeli forces are escalating their destruction in Khan Younis, exacerbating the already dire situation in this southern city of the Gaza Strip.

Troops on the ground are demolishing residential buildings, adding to the extensive damage inflicted by previous air attacks.

In a disturbing development, soldiers, including Itamar Bello, are capturing and sharing videos mocking the destruction, proudly showcasing the simultaneous demolition of 40 residential buildings. Bello even posted a photo with numerous mines used in the demolition.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that the Israeli military is besieging its ambulance center in Khan Younis, hindering first responders from reaching the wounded. The situation is becoming increasingly critical as the Red Crescent loses contact with its team in the area.

Israeli tanks are reportedly nearing El Amal City Hospital in Khan Younis, heightening concerns for the safety of medical facilities. Despite international pressure for a ceasefire, Israel persists in surrounding and bombarding Gaza's health infrastructure, with the Nasser Medical Complex repeatedly targeted.

Critics are accusing Israel of pursuing a policy aimed at eliminating the health sector in Gaza, aggravating the humanitarian crisis.

As the assault on Khan Younis intensifies, the city faces "very dark days ahead." The once-designated "safe zone" has transformed into a scene of devastation and suffering, with thousands of residents fleeing from the north now trapped amid relentless attacks.

The Nasser hospital and El Amal City Hospital are under intense bombing campaigns, posing severe threats to those seeking refuge. Israeli forces deploy attacks from land, air, and sea, leaving no safe corridor for escape.

Amid the chaos, Sami Abu Zuhri, a senior Hamas official, criticized the Israeli regime prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu's refusal to end military operations. Hamas demanded a permanent halt to the bombing, withdrawal of ground troops, and the release of Palestinian prisoners, linking these conditions to the fate of Israeli captives.

On October 7, Israel launched a relentless offensive that has killed at least 25,105 people in Gaza, mostly women and children.
