Iran’s Ice Hockey Team Beaten by Singapore
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran's national ice hockey team lost to Singapore 8-5 in Group B of the 2024 World Championships Division III on Thursday.
The match was held at Skenderija Sports Arena in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Iran had lost to host Bosnia 3-0, the Philippines 14-2, North Korea 9-4, and Hong Kong 11-3 in its previous matches.
Entry to all championship games is free of charge, and the first-place team will go to division III A.
Host Bosnia and Herzegovina qualified for Group A.
The Group A tournament will be held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, from March 10 to 16 and the Group B tournament is underway in Sarajevo from February 23 to 29.
