Iran Downs India at 2024 IIHF Women's Asia & Oceania Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s national team creamed India 10-0 at the 2024 IIHF Women's Asia and Oceania Cup on Friday.
Team Melli Banovan had defeated the UAE 16-0 and Kyrgyzstan 6-0 at the Gorodskoi Katok in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
Iran is scheduled to meet the Philippines on Saturday in the gold medal match.
The 2024 IIHF Women's Asia and Oceania Cup is an international women's ice hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).
This edition of the tournament takes place from March 24 to 30 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
The tournament follows a single round robin format.
