Futsal Team Leaves for 2024 AFC Futsal Asian Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran's national futsal team left Tehran on Monday morning to participate in the 2024 AFC Futsal Asian Cup.
Team Melli has been drawn in Group D along with Kuwait, Afghanistan and Bahrain.
The Persians will commence the competition on April 18 against Afghanistan.
Sixteen teams will be vying for the AFC Futsal Asian Cup Thailand 2024 title when the 17th edition kicks off in Bangkok, Thailand on April 17.
Japan is the defending champion while Iran will be seeking a 13th title.
