Iran’s Jafari Among Goalball’s ‘Ones to Watch’ in Paris
TEHRAN (Tasnim)- With the countdown to the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games well and truly in the final stages, Paralympic.org has introduced the goalball athletes that people should pay attention to this summer.
Iranian goalball star Hassan Jafari is among the ‘Ones to Watch’ athletes in the games.
Iran secured qualification for Paris 2024 thanks to Jafari’s five goals in the 2023 Asia/Pacific Championship final which won them the title.
Paris 2024 will be his first Paralympic appearance since London 2012.
The preliminary stage will start on August 29, and the medal games will take place on September 8.
