Iran Finishes Sixth in 2024 Asian Women's U-18 Volleyball Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran lost to South Korea in straight sets (25-21, 25-22, 25-17) in the 15th Asian Women’s U-18 Volleyball Championship and came sixth on Sunday.
Iran defeated the Philippines 3-0 and Kazakhstan 3-1 and lost to defending champion Japan 3-0, Chinese Taipei 3-0 and South Korea 3-0 (two times).
China, Japan, Chinese Taipei and Japan have qualified for the FIVB Volleyball Girls' U-19 World Championship as the competition’s top four teams.
The Asian Women's U-18 Volleyball Championship was held at the Ratchaburi Gymnasium in Ratchaburi, Thailand.
