2024 Asian Women’s U-20 Volleyball Championship: Iran Victorious over Australia
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran beat Australia 3-1 (28-30, 25-23, 25-19, 25-19) in the 2024 Asian Women’s U-20 Volleyball Championship on Thursday.
Iran is scheduled to play the winner on New Zealand and Hong Kong in the 9th–10th place match on Sunday.
The competition is being held at the Jiangmen Sports Center Gymnasium in Jiangmen, China from July 1 to 8.
A total of 12 teams vie for top honor and four berths at stake for the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Women’s U-21 World Championship.
Padideh Bolourizadeh leads the Iranian team in the tournament.
