Iran Wrestling Coach Kaveh Steps Down
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran freestyle head coach Mohsen Kaveh stepped down from his role on Friday.
He had replaced Pejman Dorostkar in December 2023.
Under his guidance, Iran snatched three silver medals and one bronze in the 2024 Olympic Games.
Rahman Amouzad in 65kg, Hassan Yazdani in 86kg and Amir Hossein Zare in 125kg claimed three silvers and Amir Ali Azarpira won a bronze medal in 97kg.
Dorostkar will likely be named as the new head coach of the team.
