Saipa to Meet Monolith Sky Risers in Asian Club Volleyball Championship Opener
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian club Saipa will start the 2024 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship with a match against the Philippines’ Monolith Sky Risers on Sunday.
The Iranian side will also meet NEC Red Rockets Kawasaki of Japan and Vietnam’s LP Bank Ninh Binh in the following days in Pool B.
Pool A consists of Thailand’s Nakhonratchasima Qmin, Hong Kong’s Kwai Tsing, Kuanysh of Kazakhstan and Duc Giang Chemical Club of Vietnam.
All participating teams will compete in the eight-day championship to vie for top honor and two slots on offer for the 2024 FIVB Women’s Club World Championship, due to be held in China from December 17 to 22.
