Israeli Military Sites Targeted in Yemeni Drone Attacks
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Yemen's Armed Forces claimed responsibility for two drone attacks targeting Israeli military centers in Tel Aviv and Eilat, saying the operation achieved its objectives.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen's Armed Forces, stated that the attacks, which struck military sites in Jaffa (Tel Aviv) and Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat), were carried out successfully.
"We targeted Jaffa and Umm al-Rashrash with two military drone operations, successfully achieving our objectives," Saree said in a statement.
He added that the military site in Tel Aviv was hit by the 'Yaffa' drone, while four 'Samad 4' drones targeted another military center in Eilat.
Saree praised Palestinian and Lebanese fighters for resisting "American-Zionist aggressions" and urged Arab and Islamic nations to join the fight the “decisive battle” against the Zionist enemy.
"We reaffirm our support for the people of Palestine and Lebanon until the end of the Zionist enemy's aggressions," he said.
In a separate development, British maritime security firm Ambrey reported a new maritime incident in Yemeni waters.
The company received a report of an incident 97 nautical miles northwest of Al-Hudaydah, Yemen, and said it was conducting investigations.
This comes as the Yemeni army, in response to the ongoing Israeli genocidal war in Gaza, has imposed a naval blockade on Israeli ships and those connected to Israel in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandeb Strait.
