Head of Esteghlal’s Board of Directors Shahriari Resigns
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Head of Esteghlal football club board of directors Ahmad Shahriari stepped down from his role.
Ali Tajernia will replace him in the post. Tajernia is a member of the board of Football Federation and a member of the board of Esteghlagh Club.
Farshid Samiei will remain as Esteghlal general manager.
Esteghlal, headed by Pitso Mosimane, sits 10th in the Iran football league with 17 points, 14 points behind leader Sepahan.
