Army Stages War Game Northeast of Iran
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian Army Ground Force launched a war game with the purpose of eliminating terrorist groups in the northeastern border areas.
The military exercise, titled “Intense Armed Security War Game,” has kicked off along the borderline in northeastern Iran.
The Army said the purpose of the drill is to eliminate terrorist groups that disrupt national security at the border areas.
The exercise is attended by various units of the Army, including the rapid reaction forces and drone units, who are supported by the Air Force.
The Iranian military forces have employed advanced precision-strike weapons in the war game during the past two days.
