Foolad Beats Shams Azar to Move Fourth: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Foolad football team defeated Shams Azar 3-0 on Friday in the 2024-25 Iran Professional League (IPL).
Ali Asghar Arabi scored for Foolad in Qazvin in the 37th minute and completed his brace in the 44th minute. Mohammad Javad Mohammadi made the scoreboard 3-0 just one minute into the second half.
Mes was held to a goalless draw by Havadar in Rafsanjan and Nassaji drew 0-0 with 10-man Kheybar in Ghaemshahr's Shahid Vatani Stadium.
Foolad moved to fourth place with 21 points, four points behind leader Tractor.
