Iraq to Play Kuwait in Friendly
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iraq national football team will meet Kuwait in a friendly match.
Kuwait will host Iraq on January 27 in preparation for the resumption of the Asian Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China 2023.
The Iraqi team was held to a goalless draw against the UAE Wednesday night in a friendly match.
Iraq is currently top of Group C of the Asian Qualifiers with 11 points from five matches, a group that consists of rivals Iran, Bahrain, Hong Kong, and Cambodia.
