Asian Women's Junior Handball Championship: Iran Loses to Kazakhstan
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran was defeated against Kazakhstan 30-24 in the 2022 Asian Women's Junior Handball Championship on Tuesday.
Iran will play India on Thursday.
The 2022 Asian Women's Junior Handball Championship has brought five teams, namely Kazakhstan, Iran, India, Uzbekistan and Thailand together in Almaty, Kazakhstan from March 7 to 14.
The competition is the 16th edition of the championship under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation.
It also acts as the qualification tournament for the 2022 Women's Junior World Handball Championship, with top two teams from the championship directly qualifying for the event to be held in Slovenia.
