Iran Eyes Major Strides in Broadening Ties with Hungary
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi congratulated Hungarian leaders on their election, hoping that Tehran and Budapest would make great strides in strengthening the bilateral relations and contributing to international peace and security.
The Iranian president on Monday sent messages to Hungarian President Katalin Novak and Prime Minister Viktor Orban, congratulating them on assuming office.
In his message to Novak -Hungary’s first-ever female president- Raisi said the constructive and growing relations between the two countries in various fields would allow them to set new goals for closer friendly bonds.
He also expressed hope that considering their joint political determination, Iran and Hungary would make major and great strides in strengthening their bilateral ties as well as international peace and security.
In the other message to the Hungarian premier, President Raisi said the implementation of agreements between Iran and Hungary after the meetings of the Joint Economic Commission over the past two years has opened up new vistas for the promotion of economic, political, cultural and international cooperation.
He hoped that during Orban’s new term as the prime minister of Hungary, Tehran and Budapest would strengthen their relations and friendship for the fulfillment of mutual interests.
