Sweden Defeats Iran at Youth Beach Handball World Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Sweden defeated Iran 2-0 (26-25, 24-21) in the 2022 IHF Youth Beach Handball World Championship on Wednesday.
The Iranian team had already defeated the US and Qatar 2-0 in Group A.
Iran finished the group stage as the second place winner.
The 2022 IHF Youth Beach Handball World Championship is the 2nd edition of the championship being held from June 14 to 19 in Heraklion, Greece under the aegis of the International Handball Federation (IHF).
The IHF Youth Beach Handball World Championship is an international beach handball competition contested by the men's and women's youth national teams of the member federations of International Handball Federation, the sport's global governing body.
