IPL: Esteghlal Earns Late Win over Zob Ahan
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal football team defeated Zob Ahan 1-0 thanks to an own goal from Mohammad Ghoreyshi in Isfahan on Friday.
In the match, held in Isfahan on Matchweek 9 of the Iran Professional League (IPL), Ghoreyshi headed the ball into own goal in the added time.
Esteghlal moved to second place behind Persepolis, who had defeated Mes Rafsanjan 1-0 on Thursday in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
