Iran Downs US at 2023 FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s men’s team defeated the US 8-3 in the FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup South Africa 2023 on Monday.
Iran, who was defeated against Argentina 5-4 in Pool B in its opening match, will play Australia on Tuesday.
The competition started in Pretoria on February 5 and will run until February 11.
Iran is in Pool B along with the Czech Republic, the US, Australia, South Africa and Argentina.
The top-four teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals.
