Iran Basketball to Play Georgia: FIBA

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s basketball team will play three friendly matches with Georgia, FIBA, the International Basketball Federation, reported.

The warm-up matches are scheduled for August 12, 13 and 14 in Tbilisi, Georgia.

At the 2023 FIBA World Cup, Iran, No. 22 in the FIBA World Ranking Men, will play in Group G, in Jakarta, Indonesia - the same city that hosted last year's Asia Cup.

It will open its campaign against Brazil and then face Ivory Coast before going up against the defending champion, Spain.

Iran played two friendly matches with Lebanon last week.
